USDA Certified Organic Bavette Steak

Our USDA certified organic, 100% grass-fed & finished Bavette steak is a great alternative to skirt or flank steak.  If you’re unfamiliar with Bavette steak don’t feel bad, most people are! Bavette is a much more common term outside of the US and is used almost interchangeably with flank.  The bavette steak is cut from chest/abdominal muscles of the animal, and since these muscles are regularly used, this flat iron steak is a leaner cut and packed with flavor.  Slicing against the grain is the difference maker with this cut of beef in order to maximize tenderness.  Substitute this steak with any of your other flat iron steaks (Flank, Skirt, Hanger) and turn up fajita night, or serve with a simple chimchurri sauce & let the beef be the star of the show!
